About Us

Kenzington Dunlop is the place to be for amazing burgers and drinks. With the patio out front, and a large patio and bar out back, live music and events happening all the time, you'll never have a dull moment here. Come spend some time at Kenzington Dunlop.

Good burger place in Barrie if you fancy a homemade fresh burger. The menu is vere complete and easy to read. For those not carving a burger, they offer salads and hand hung plates like sandwiches, wraps or shareables. When ordering a burger, you get to choose the style you’d like to try, which are multiple and great options, then you select the type of bun, which protein you’d like to eat and lastly you choose the side. All burgers and food here is cooked at the moment and ingredients have a high quality and all are fresh. If you come very hungry, they offer two challenge burgers. I tried one of them called “ In training” which was very well achieved. They have a good amount of staff to cover all tables, however they don’t have enough chefs in the kitchen being able to cover a lot of meals at the same time. Still, all plates were carefully cooked, and it is always better to provide the best quality product to rush and not meet the minimum expectations

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon Kensington Burger Place on Sunday August 25th during an unplanned visit. We were hungry and decided to give it a try. Mike, our server, was incredibly polite, always smiling, and made our experience memorable, Thank you. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the extra pickles I requested were fantastic. We ordered two burgers 🍔 and two beers 🍻 total with 10% tip we paid 80$ and change However, the fries and onion rings were a bit too dark, likely due to the frying oil needing a change. Despite this, we had a great time, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you! For cool videos follow me on Instagram: @farik_profile

Food was delicious! The burger was done very well and the sweet potato fries were good. I tried some of the pulled pork poutine too and it was very filling. It seemed very friendly to dietary options such as gluten-free and vegetarian. The only criticisms I have are that there was a small piece of glass on the table and my water had some dirt stuck to the side of it. Other than that, great place to get food!

We went to this restaurant on a very cold, snowy day. It was just the two of us in the restaurant, so we enjoyed our meal while chatting. The staff didn't disturb us or rush us to leave, making the experience very comfortable. I ordered a Rodeo burger with grilled cheese + bacon. It's so delicious.

One of the best burgers I’ve had. I had the PB&J . You slightly taste the peanut butter & grape jelly adds a nice touch to the meaty beefy double burger. Great food & service.

We've been wanting to try this place for a while as we'd seen it on a TV show from about 10 yrs ago. Overall decent experience, but there are better places to eat in Barrie for less money.$80 for 3 people for lunch. I feel like they've rested on the TV fame, and not really done much since except reduce portion size and increase prices. The kids chicken sandwich was big and good value, however the onion rings it came with were flavourless and very greasy. The pulled pork burger had good flavour, however needed more sauce on it. The salad it came with was very good, but small. The classic kenzington burger was ok, but frankly for $21 I expected a bit more. Patties were a little small and dry. It was a house made burger that you can get anywhere for about 5 bucks less. Atmosphere is good and service was good. Again, overall decent experience but nothing that would make me want to come back here, especially with so many choices in Barrie.

The Crunchy Thai burger is the best burger I’ve had in 2023!!!! All the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, juicy, packed full of flavour and tasted amazing!!! You could taste all the flavours in the burger in EVERY bite which is exactly what you want in a burger. I highly recommend you come here and try it out! Fries were great and the WINGS were huge, fresh, and juicy. A great spot for tasty food!!

Wanted to try this place as I heard a lot of good things and its a very fun place to be in especially on a nice day with the doors open and full patio. Atmosphere here is great, the service is great so 4 stars for that. However, 3 of the 4 beers on the Beer Flight were flat, and the soft drinks where off.. The food presentation was excellent and the wings, salads and fries were very good. Wings were crispy but not dried out and the home dressing for the salad was delicious. The burgers was the main reason why we came but aside from the presentation.. they were not what I expected. They tasted good but the two 3oz patties together were a bit dry. Also the pickles used to top off the burgers were not fresh and dehydrated. Overall experience was good but for for the cost and taste of burgers here, I would go to The Works down the street every time.

A burger place on a diet? Yes. You can eat healthy here and have tasty options without a lot of bread! I tend to watch the amount of grains I consume so I asked for the Kenzington Burger without the bun. And, instead of fries, a side salad was an option. It was loaded with red cabbage and cucumber. The salad substitution and extra dressing were provided at no extra charge. (More and more of a rarity.) The burger was actually two hand-pressed patties, set on red onion and lettuce. While my photo doesn’t show the patties, they were thin, but large, nicely grilled and full of flavour. One of my dining companions ordered the Cobb Salad, which was generously portioned, beautifully plated, and something I will definitely order next time. We dined here for lunch, and we had a full table of 14 ladies. Our server was attentive and friendly. And, if you want a spot for a larger group, being seated in the back room allowed us sufficient room to spread out, and actually hear the conversation at the table. For those of us born and raised in Barrie, who remember these properties on Dunlop Street in all their iterations through the years, I felt the “history of the building” in the original wood staircase, painted tin ceiling, and exposed brick. I will definitely be back.
