It was my birthday, and I had an amazing time here. Cassandra is wonderful—truly the best. I loved the place and the vibes. I will definitely visit again. I don’t have enough words to express how I feel. Just wow! ✨

Debut is, without a doubt, my favourite restaurant in Barrie! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming energy from the staff and owner, Brice. The atmosphere is far from your typical bar; it's elevated and classy, perfect for a night out with the girls or celebrating a special occasion. The decor is unique and adds to the overall experience, making it a truly special place to dine. The food is absolutely delicious, with each dish crafted with care and bursting with flavor. But the cocktails... oh, the cocktails! They are truly next level. Each drink is a work of art, with fun little twists that always surprise and delight. I make it a point to order a new drink every time I go, just to see the creative presentation. I can't recommend Debut enough. It's more than just a restaurant; it's an experience and a home. If you're looking for a place with amazing food, fantastic drinks, and a great atmosphere, Debut is the place to be. You won't be disappointed!

Went for the first time as this establishment had just opened. Overall, it was a pretty good spot. Food was reasonably priced, waitress was nice and service was quick. If you are wondering by and looking to try it out, I would recommend!

I’ve had the chance to visit this restaurant twice now for group events, and both experiences were excellent! Brice the manager and other staff members provided consistently good service—professional, attentive, and accommodating to our larger party. The food was solid across the board, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that pleased everyone at the table. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere for drinks. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for fun cocktails with friends, and the Aperol Spritz is priced better than anywhere else I’ve found.

I made a reservation here for our annual staff dinner. ( No photos - too busy chatting) My coworkers and I loved the food and service. The food was served fresh and piping hot, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had, and the spinach dip is incredible. Staff are friendly, helpful and eager to please but clearing plates/refills was slow - which was our only complaint Debut is a great place to hang out with friends. Highly reccomend, we will definitely be back.

Had a great lunch with my husband! Service was great and love the vibe and what they have done with everything in this location! Cannot wait till patio season! Had the jalapeño poppers, chicken leg with rice and salad, drums of heaven and the chicken teriyaki bowl so we could really try many things and have left overs! Loved it all! Thank you for the great meal 🩷

I organized a family reunion of 20 people and we held it at Debut Bar and Restaurant. What an amazing evening! The service was super friendly, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, plus they have really paid attention to the decor and the overall vibe to make it a classy enjoyable place for all. Highly recommended!

A Must-Visit Gem in Barrie! Dining at The Debut Bar and Restaurant (Barrie) was an absolute delight from start to finish. I went with my 10 Girlfriends to celebrate my Bday. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between lively and welcoming, with its cheeky Canadian-themed décor and vibrant energy that instantly makes you feel at home. Our waitress was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, checking in at just the right moments to ensure everything was perfect. The food? Outstanding. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, making it clear that quality and care are top priorities here. Cherry on Top, the owner and the manager Brian were making sure that I and my Girlfriends will have the best time. Super Fast service and not a single time, they made us realize that they were overwhelmed 😀.

Been here twice already. Superlative service from Brice. I walked in without realising that I was still holding my coffee from a nearby cafe. When I remembered, I apologized but Brice made me feel so comfortable,even offering to provide me with a mug for my coffee in a paper cup - that's next level service ❤️! I love that one can add a protein to any dish, especially great for my husband who is vegetarian but loves his Beyond Meat, which is one of the protein options. Both the fettuccine Alfredo and chicken with mushroom sauce I had on two separate occasions were simply delicious. The ambience is nice and there is live music on some evenings, I am told. Five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟all the way!!

Stumbled into this place on a weekend evening. The staff are super friendly and so is the owner, the food was really good, and the drinks were on point. One of the best old fashioned and martinis we’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend!
