Introduction

1964

First Boston Pizza opens in Edmonton, Alberta. Greek immigrant Gus Agioritis opened Boston Pizza in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with plans for steady growth. But even he couldn’t have predicted how far it would come — thanks in part to a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer named Jim Treliving.

Pretty good location with good food and a lovely atmosphere. We received slow service, and a few items from our order were missed, so we ended up waiting quite a bit. We tried Meateor Pizza, Dill Chicken Bowl, Kids Meals Spaghetti and Meatballs, and everything was decent. They did have a "kids eat free" promotion going on for September, so that was a nice surprise. Overall, Okay 👍

It's visits like these that are making Boston Pizza our favourite place no matter which location. This franchise is being run well. The service was prompt, responsive and friendly. The food was served hot and fresh. The kids menu portions are stellar. We love just getting a bunch of different pizzas and splitting them.

The main meal was okay but the desert was disappointing. The chocolate explosion (noted as a guest favorite) is supposed to have caramel, toffee and pecans. None of which we saw. And only a few slivers of almonds. Save your $10.

Unfortunately our pepperoni pizza was simply cheese. Also ordered an appetizer platter with only half the items included. Ordered a fried chicken and dill sauce sandwich, the chicken was grilled with no sauce. Ordered extra dill sauce for $3 and it wasn’t included. Not impressed. The pirogi pizza was seriously lacking as well. Won’t be ordering again.

Dined in during Thanksgiving. Place was quiet so it was nice and server was super attentive! Had Bandera bread and the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. Generous serving but on the pricier side. Very good and consistent pasta whichever Boston Pizza we go.

We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful young man Nathen, Who seated us in a comfortable booth, as per my daughter’s request. My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful meal. Our server Cassidy was incredibly attentive and took excellent care of us. Thank you.

I was there at my birthday, there was no waiting time. We got good service from staff and the food was delicious. I recommend the Hawaiian pizza here. It is different than other pizza restaurants. At the end i got the brownies and vanilla ice cream as a birthday gift from the restaurant. The taste was so good. I appreciated.

Exceptional service, on top of drinks. Food was amazing although the bathrooms are a little chilly LOL. Cassidy was our server and she was such a joy. Will be back!

My daughter decided to have a girls lunch date for her 11th birthday. She decided to pick Boston Pizza! I’d like to say thank you to this location and especially the waitress that turned into the host of the party! While being very busy she had the time to compliment the girls and pay attention to the birthday girl on every pass by! Boston pizza thanks my daughter had the best birthday EVER!

Excellent service! Love how they did their best to revive the Viva Italia pizza. Always a solid place to stop and grab a bite.
